I have just read this article of a speech by Bishop Barron.

I don’t know who Bishop Barron is, but hell, every paragraph seemed to deal with such obvious defects in our modern society, I thought he really hits the nail on the head!

Near death silly science

I was watching a debate on “Is death final?”. The science section – you know, the guys demanding PROOF that a person finding themselves out-of-body, or in a different awareness of continued consciousness when they have temporarily died, were saying there is NO proof because scientific tests have never been successful.

Sologomy – marrying yourself

I was distracted this morning by a “new” trend in marriage. Sologomy – marrying yourself. More and more women are doing it, evidently – Feminists. I’d never heard of it. But maybe you have?

Science two ways

Scientists talk about us having no free will.

They say this because the brain registers the response you are going to make, seconds before you actually make it.

So to one lot of scientists this means we have no free will – the brain has already decided before you responded.

To my “spiritual” followers

When I started this blog, it was going to be about anything that came to mind – just a bit a fun, really, especially something to do when I couldn’t sleep at night.

We went, we saw, but we didn’t see these

The Furlongs went to India. We saw amazing things. Mr Furlong said he thinks we did see a Stepwell. But I have no recollection. I think they are absolutely beautiful!  So I am sharing these stunning photographs with you. There are many photos in the article – well worth looking at – enjoy!

Ear candles for wax or wonder?

Once, Mr Furlong and I went to a  Mind, Body and Spirit  convention in The Yorkshire Dales.

There, Indian/Hopi Ear Candles were being sold –  Quote – “to remove ear wax”!
