Living to over a hundred? Right now, I’d like that – if I was healthy. If I felt the way I do now.

The oldest human simply stopped eating and asked his loving and proud family to “let him go”.

He’d had enough. obviously.

But it was also down to a rather unusual diet of three eggs – two raw – each day for more than 90 years.

So is it down to eggs and cigarettes? And love?

According to the US-based Gerontology Research Group (GRG), the world’s oldest registered human is now Jamaican Violet Brown, who was born on 10 March 1900.
