Review the smoking ban – new report

Smokers are the only group of people in the Western World, that are never considered, never given a voice, who are overtly persecuted. Society has been sculpted to “hate” them by a barrage of deceit and lies poured into their minds by Prohibitionists whose only “Endgame” is the eradication of smokers worldwide.

Society has been changed for the worse because of it.

There is a new report out today (a PDF file) which is very worth reading whether you believe the myths you have been programmed to believe, or if you don’t. HERE

It ends –

“After ten years it’s time to review the ban and the damage
it has caused. The current law was driven not by a genuine
desire to ‘protect’ bar workers but by a puritanical urge to
stub out smoking by making it inconvenient or difficult to
smoke.

An amendment to the legislation, allowing separate, well ventilated
smoking rooms or annexes (at the landlord’s
discretion), would balance the risk or discomfort of
‘secondhand’ smoke against the freedom of nine million
adults to light up in greater comfort when they visit the
pub for a pint and a cigarette.

Is that too much to ask?”

No – it’s not too much to ask – but who is going to listen?

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!

  1. In my youth, said the Old Man, it was popular among the more ‘green’ of my German peers to place a sticker on their cars with the following ‘Prophecy Of The Cree’ : “When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river poisoned, only then will we realize that one cannot eat money.”

Someday I will get around to composing a version for us smokers: “When the last cigarette has been stubbed out, when the last OAP smoker has died of hypothermia from being made to stand outside in an English summer, when the last tobacco plant on the planet has been preserved as a museum exhibit, only then will we realize that no one actually derives pleasure from eating tofu and wheatgrass.
