The Last Furlong

Comments on the race of life.

Difficult day ahead tomorrow

Tomorrow this Furlong is going out with her sister. Mr Furlong and the Furlong dog are staying at home.

It’s going to be a really difficult day.

She has vouchers for cake and coffee at the wonderful Garden Centre near us. I can feel my resolve to not eat cake has dissipated already.

She is going to buy pebbles for her garden.

The Furlong garden – the new one we have moved to now, that we are watching with surprise and delight as pleasing┬áplants keep popping up in unexpected places, as we go into spring, has a whole section, of pebble garden. I love pebbles!

I can feel my resolve to not buy anything else this month, has dissipated already.

It’s going to be a difficult day, and I’m enjoying the idea of it already.

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!
