Calling a spade a spade – lone crazy? No!

I am waiting to see how the Westminster terrorist is going to be re-labelled a “lone crazy”. It is not politically correct to infer lone crazies have anything to do with Islam.

This report was issued in 2008 on Al Qaeda terrorism

“The term we use to describe our strategy toward terrorists is important, because it affects what kinds of forces you use,” Jones said. “Terrorists should be perceived and described as criminals, not holy warriors, (my bold) and our analysis suggests that there is no battlefield solution to terrorism.” Link

It’s now 2017 – see how calling terrorists “criminals” worked!

Of the Westminster attack the reports are saying snippets –

Officials have now said the lone wolf maniac…..

‘This was the lone wolf attack Britain has long been fearing’

“no prior intelligence about his intent to mount a terrorist attack.”

They think he acted alone,

Scotland Yard has said the Westminster attacker, Khalid Masood, 52, acted alone.

Criminals? Lone wolves? Lone crazy? Take your pick.

Why are we kidding ourselves?

ISIS aka RADICAL ISLAM has developed “remote control” to direct and encourage so-called lone wolf attacks on the West.

Lets call a spade a spade!

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!

Far as I can recall, terrorist here in the UK have always been referred to as ‘criminals’. Which worked so well in the 70s and 80s with the IRA and will no doubt work with Islamic ones (yes that was sarcasm).

No idea what the answer is but it certainly involves a return to/strengthening of civil liberties not a curtailment.
