The Last Furlong

Moving on – our old house

The Furlong children – well they’re all grown up now – nearing/are in middle age actually – but they are still our “kids”, had a wonderful upbringing in a huge old Edwardian house built in 1901. Well, this, technically, was still the Victorian age – but architecture was moving on and our house was very “modern” – then.

Today, we got photographs of our old house as it is now, being transformed into modernity.

It’s moving on – a business centre soon. No one now will know the happy memories we had there.

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!
