The neighbour over the road from our new residence, has offered on numerous occasions to take the Furlong dog along with her two lady dogs, on walks.
That is very kind.
But we know our dog. The Furlong dog has two dog friends. That’s all. He doesn’t care much for “friends”, unless they are human. Our dog is NOT friendly.
Yesterday, I heard barking at the neighbour’s on arriving back at our front gate, and she indicated she’d bring her two, sort of, Jack Russelly dogs over the road to meet Bobby-the-dog.
Her dogs were not on leashes, but free.
Oh, ya. You know about that then?
The tiny Jack Russelly doggie with the yappy bark and frizzy fur, made an instant snarling, jaw slathering attack on Bobby-the-dog and her sister? followed suit. A pack of dogs, entangled, shrieking with hate. Suddenly, outside his own gate, our already unfriendly dog finds himself battling two crazy bitches. (No swearing here).
It did NOT go well.
I’m sorry about that.
We thought OUR dog was the usual culprit for unfriendliness! I learned a lot yesterday – and so did he. There is no goodwill amongst OUR dogs.
Walk our dog? Not much chance!
