2016 was a good year for The Furlongs I think.
Well, I can remember more nice experiences than unpleasant ones.
We went to Provence in France. That was good.
We moved house – that was horrid and nice simultaneously.
All the Furlong children and grandchildren seem ok and generally happy in the stress of modern life. And we’ve had some good family “events”. I’m sure they’ve got new years resolutions of their own – fantastic ones probably. They are young!
Us oldies, despite some aches and pains, the diabetes, heart, sight, hearing and general decomposition have a little list of things we might try in 2017.
Maybe my new hearing aids scheduled for 2017 will uplift me.
Maybe Mr Furlong will try them too and get off Metformin and insulin.
Maybe we’ll be successful in actually sticking to HFLC eating as outlined in Tim Noakes’s Real Meal Revolution.(free download)
Maybe we’ll lose weight.
Maybe we’ll get fit.
Maybe we’ll go to Provence again.
Maybe we’ll make it to the end of the year.
Those new year’s resolutions are as fantastic as we can get at our age.
Big deal, hey?
You got better ones?
