The Last Furlong

Comments on the race of life.

Not one, but two, no, THREE supermoons

Interesting article this morning with more information on my today’s first post on the Hunters Moon .

The first of three ‘supermoons’ cast a glow across the globe on Sunday and two more will do so again in November and December to send off 2016 in stellar style.

If you observed the night sky on Sunday, a full supermoon looming and lighting the planet was hard to miss.

But if you didn’t see it, you’ll have two more chances to catch it by the time the year is out.

Earth will experience one more supermoon in December as well as an ‘extra-supermoon’ in November.

But when it hangs low to the ground and trees, buildings and other objects are used as reference points, its true size is revealed (pictured at Victoria Tower on Castle Hill in Kiklees, West Yorkshire)

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!
