The Furlongs follow the International Space Station. We get notified when it is flying overhead. Tonight it is flying over us – but we are unable to salute it because it’s cloudy – again.
It’s actually a bit awesome thinking that those people are working so very far away overhead – so we thank them – and wave!. Recently someone on ham radio up this way spoke to them for a few minutes before the signal broke up. That’s exciting when you live in the non technological countryside with sheep and hedgehogs and owls….
