We have got loads of strawberries in The Furlong garden, both wild and cultivated. They need harvesting. But I am putting my cunning plan in place tomorrow
We are using other labour to do it. It ought to be fun. Two small grandchildren are arriving in the afternoon to do the job. There ought to be plenty left over after eating, squishing, dropping or loosing them.
The only thing that worries me is that every year they pick and eat nice things from our garden. How do I teach them that not every fruit looking like a delicious snack, is SAFE to eat?
