The Last Furlong

Comments on the race of life.

Fingers and thumbs

In Africa, I never wore gloves.

But when I got to England, I discovered what a pest they are to smokers. A friend introduced me to fingerless gloves. They are a smoker’s friend – especially since smokers, here, are relegated to the discomfort of outdoors in winter.

I don’t use my fingerless gloves for smoking anymore, as I vape.

But I do use them for walking the Furlong dog. Gloves are a pest for dog walkers. Fingerless gloves are a dog walker’s best friend. I can clip and un-clip the lead, produce treats in a trice, all without fumbling.

I rather like these….for fun

I'm someone also pounding the Path, just like you.. I'm retired, going into Old Age and loving my life. I'm hoping to remain happy and well for as long as possible. Old Age is not SO bad - yet!

Please do comment! That's part of the fun...
